We’re excited to announce that soon E-Flux will be changing its name to Road

As Road, it will be our mission to make EV transactions effortless for everyone. Providing more people with more EV charging services, including:

  • Our familiar and loved E-Flux by Road, the ready-to-go Charge Point Management Platform for instant access to seamless transaction handling.
  • Our new Road Private Label, quick integration of our modular platform into your own EV charging proposition.

While this is a big step for E-Flux, you won’t notice any change in the day-to-day services you enjoy from us. This is simply a name change that you’ll see reflected in our logo as we move forward.

As the world scales up to meet the EV charging demand. We’re ready for this once-in-a-century mobility revolution. With our purpose built platform, unique expertise, and world-class customer service, we deliver the transaction and payment solutions the EV charging ecosystem is built on.

This is the way forward. And Road is how we get there.

Why are you changing your name from E-Flux to Road?

As electric vehicles take off in Europe and across the globe, the need for reliable charging solutions is bigger than ever. Our mission is to make EV charging transactions effortless for charge station owners, drivers and everyone else. As we expand into new countries across Europe and provide new products and services to our customers, we need a new name that better reflects our mission and the unique mobility revolution we are part of. Road is the way forward.

What will change for me as a customer?

Our legal entity name will change from E-Flux to Road. This will be updated in all our formal documents such as General Terms & Conditions. We will also change the name in our bank record from E-flux to Road. Our new name will also show up in your bank account statement.

Can I still use all my E-Flux products?

Yes, all our products (Charge Point Management Platform, Charge Cards, Charge Tags and our driver app) will continue to work without disruption.

Does this affect my subscriptions?

No, your charge point and/or charge card subscriptions will continue to work without disruption.

Will there be any changes required for my monthly payment?

If you use automated bank collection, there will be no changes required from you. We will continue to collect the monthly payment under the same bank account number, just with our new name. If you pay by monthly invoice you will have to use our new name when you transfer the payment.

When does this go into effect?

Our new name will go into effect around the end of August. You will receive updated communications on the day our name will change.

What is Road Private Label?

As we change our name, we will also offer a new service called Road Private Label, for organisations that are looking for a modular platform to develop their own EV charging proposition. More information about Road Private Label will be shared when we launch.
